This installation took place in an empty room at home over the course of five days. It includes several sculptural "trash mobiles", made with materials found around Guelph and in the Speed River, as well as a series of improvised paintings and drawings on paper. The materials were collected over time, with a conscious and intuitive desire to re-make and re-purpose manmade objects which are no longer usable for their original purpose. Along with various self portraits taken in the space, this in-home, self-guided residency explores the relation of history-of-a-place with that of my own history.
